Western Bluebirds

Western Bluebirds are a native songbird to the southern region of North America. Their brilliant blue feathers and beautiful song brings joy to birders and nature enthusiasts. In the Cowichan Valley, their numbers are low due to habitat loss. A local group is working on restoring the Western Bluebird population in their primary habitat, Garry Oak Meadows.
